Project Overview
Structural investigations are assessments of a building's or structure's integrity, often conducted to identify potential problems, assess damage, or ensure compliance with safety standards.
The project involved the refurbishment of the roof area and parapets of an existing retail store, carried out by the appointed contractor.
Subteno’s scope encompassed a detailed structural investigation of the secondary steel framework at the second floor level, which had been installed to support roof mounted plant equipment.
Additionally, we conducted a comprehensive survey of roof penetrations to assess their condition and integrity. Based on these assessments, we provided informed advice and recommendations to our client to ensure the refurbishment was carried out safely and in compliance with structural specification.
