Project Overview
Appointed to undertake investigations to an old reinforced concrete framed structure with no historic archive information, it had undergone a number of unrecorded structural modifications throughout its life
Intrusive investigations were carried out to understand the capacity of the structure for food retail use.
Further structural alterations were required to accommodate vertical movement from basement to ground floor level and accommodate plant.
Due to the condition of the concrete structure, new structural interventions were installed to strengthen the ground floor.
