Project Overview
Subteno undertook a comprehensive structural investigation of the roofs on several buildings to identify the specific roofing materials in use, including clay hollow pot and woodwool systems.
Our scope involved conducting an intrusive investigation in collaboration with a specialist roofing contractor to accurately determine the composition and build up of each roof structure.
This investigation also assessed the feasibility of installing new roof finishes, providing critical information for potential refurbishment or replacement projects.
The detailed findings enabled informed decision making regarding appropriate maintenance strategies and ensured that any proposed interventions would be compatible with the existing roof construction.
