Project Overview
Coil tubing refers to the use of a continuous, flexible steel pipe, wound on a large reel, for well intervention and maintenance operations in offshore oil and gas wells.
For this project, the coil tubing tower was required to be positioned close to the platform edge, our scope included the design of a personnel gangway and utility bridge landing.
Our structural design solution employed a grillage system cantilevered from the platform edge, providing safe access with fully coordinated tie-down points and guy wires.
